No, no, that was I dumb one…

Laughter is an important part of life, but sometimes it can be difficult to find. Therefore the human being has invented jokes. Of course it resulted in this: there now exits brilliant jokes and dumb jokes. And I think the biggest part contains dumb ones. Sometimes I hit my palm against my face and think: “Oh please, don’t, don’t say that again. It was so lame.” But people can’t seem to know when a joke is bad or good. In my opinion it shouldn’t be that difficult to know - if your crowd laugh, it’s a good one if they don’t, you should consider something else.

I, myself doesn’t need jokes to make people laugh. I’m a silly person to watch and be around I can simply make a weird face or make a squeaky sound and people will start laughing. If they laugh at me or with me, I don’t know. The important thing is that people should think twice before they tell a joke. The situation can be (will always be) awkward if a joke isn’t funny or doesn’t suit the time and place. But of course, if you tell a good one the atmosphere will get brighter and better, and you might break an embarrassing silence.

So what is my point with this messy talk? Well not much actually it just annoys me a bit when people tell dumb jokes and don’t know it. I mean, you must have got the joke from somewhere right? Then you should consider getting new sources because “knock-knock”-jokes aren’t amusing anymore. If you were in doubt…
